Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)

Algoflon® PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) is a family of perfluorinated polymers that offer:
  1. Chemically inert
  2. Excellent temperature resistance
  3. Extremely low coefficient of friction
  4. Excellent detergency and water repellency
  5. Excellent heat resistance
Algoflon® DF PTFE Finely coagulated powders are formed by the agglomeration of fine particles with a large surface area. It can be processed into tubes, electrical and mechanical tapes using paste extrusion. It can also be foamed into porous products, used as filter membranes and high-performance fabrics and fibers.
Algoflon® PTFE Powdered particles are non-fragile particles with a small surface area. Can be compression-molded into tubes, profiles, and final parts. Blanks can be processed into components and tapes.
Algoflon® D PTFE Aqueous dispersions are ideal for coating and film processing. Fiber and fabric impregnation can be used to achieve a non-stick effect and improve the chemical resistance of the substrate. It can also be poured on metal substrates to form a protective barrier layer with low surface energy and strong chemical corrosion resistance, and can also be used as a plastic compounding processing aid.
Algoflon® L PTFE Micronized powder is a low molecular weight powder that can be easily dispersed in dry or liquid media. It is mainly used as lubricants, greases and rubber additives
